A new level of Un-Nerdiness

Alas and behold my err…return. Or maybe not. Just stopping to say hello and to let the readers know i’m still alive, though not exactly kicking – long bouts of studying can really sap the fun out of a person. At any rate, i’ll be plunging back into the depth of books, notes and flow charts where i’ll probably not see light for at least another month or so. Wish me luck.

Alrighty, updates! As the above paragraph implies, i’m still in the midst of preparing for a seriously overdue exam…or at least it feels that way. That girl i was raving about for awhile sometime back? I decided to stop going after her. I still like her alot, but (un)fortunately circumstances do not permit me to have a relationship for the time being which coupled with certain complications would seem to make this the best choice for all parties involved. On a brighter note, i have a pending internship awaiting me during my 3 month long break later this year. I’m ecstatic.

Anyway, enough about me and on to the subject matter of this post!

I’ve never been one to pay much heed to the labels people use on themselves or others. You know the ones: Nerd, Jock, Socialite, etc. I suppose it was partly to do with not being able to properly fit into the definitions of any one of these groups and partly from fear of pigeon-holing myself to a particular creed and its attendant stigma. Similarly, I’ve always felt people are inherently more complex than these labels give them credit and certainly fail to take into account the different degrees and niceties of relationships in society. At any rate, if there was a particular label which i most closely attested to it would be the Nerd due to my passion for computer games and reading…plus my *ahem* lack of success with the fairer sex. Moving on…

NerdTests.com says I'm an Uber Cool Non-Nerd. Click here to take the Nerd Test, get nerdy images and jokes, and talk to others on the nerd forum!

Got it off of Drea’s blog@Bilem’s girlfriend. Interestingly, the choice between Internet or Sex took me quite awhile. I remember taking a similar test at the end of last year where my result was Wannabe Nerd or something along those lines. It would seem my level of nerdiness has been deteriorating at quite a rapid pace. I put it down to either my Law degree or my continued mingling with “Normal” people. Either way, i’m proud to be a Non-Nerd (whatever that means).

We are in brave new waters.

-Jax out.

Irredeemable
